IFC Structure

The Interfraternity Council is primarily made up of two bodies, the IFC Executive Board and the President’s Council.  The Executive Board is composed of the IFC President and six Vice Presidents.  There are then a number of different directors that serve under each Vice President and handle more focused tasks.  All of these roles are filled by elections which are voted upon by the President’s Council.  This President’s Council, commonly referred to as “PC,” includes the chapter presidents of each IFC recognized fraternity.

Only through these elections and the President’s Council’s votes during meetings are any initiatives actually passed.  IFC is the governing body for the Fraternity System, but it is the chapter presidents that vote on proposed activities, events, and structure.  It is their votes that compose the actual decision making process.  It is the Executive Board that leads this group, its conversations, meetings, and the general vision and direction of where the Greek Community should be.

Inside this section of our website, you can find the Executive Board officers and the descriptions of each of their roles.  Each officer has a page that also corresponds to his role for you to explore.  The President’s Council is also listed here with past meeting minutes included.
